Deborah B. Wadleigh graduated with honors from Claremont McKenna College in 2001 with a dual degree in psychology and political science. She attended University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, where she was a member of the Hastings Constitutional Law Journal. She obtained her Juris Doctorate in 2005. While at Hastings, Deborah’s course work emphasized labor and employment law. She also volunteered for the Employment Law Center and advised employees from local unions throughout San Francisco as to their rights, as well as providing assistance to employees with questions regarding wage and hour law, harassment, and discrimination. She gained valuable civil litigation experience both as a research assistant at Sidley Austin Brown & Wood, and as an associate with a small firm in Oakland, California before moving to Los Angeles to join Green & Shinee in 2006. As an associate here at Green & Shinee, Deborah has represented deputies during Internal Affairs Bureau investigations, Civil Service hearings, and ERCOM arbitrations, as well as adding to our litigation practice.
